A dear friend wrote the following after taking the photo & I had to share it.

***Update: Shortly after posting this, my friend witnessed a robin eating the bug...so take heed of the lesson here within.***

I don't wanna be like a green green katydid trying to hide on a red red plum tree!

Hey You!

Green green katydid!
You are not hiding on the red red plum leaves!

You are not safe! The enemy can see you & the big old bird is gonna eat you!

Like a green green bug on a red red plum leaf you will be, if you live like this world!

The big bird of Sin will eat your salvation.

Dear, Dear Christian, you are not safe when you don't hide in Jesus!
Cleave to the image of Christ!

Be safely hidden in his holy reflection!

Become a part of him and enjoy his camouflage; Which is the saving redemption of his covering.


His righteousness imputed unto you, dear lovelies!

It is through him that you are made righteous; and that after nothing you can do that can be good enough to make you holy.

But, THROUGH him, and IN Him you can do ALL things, by his spirit and Not by any might or power :)

Once upon a time there was a green green katydid
Trying to hide in a red red plum tree!

Be Ye not of this world~ But become Holy as he is Holy!
